Tapered roller bearings

Tapered roller bearing is mainly applicable to bear radial and axial joint load based on radial load. But steep angle tapered roller bearing can be used to bear radial and axial joint load based on axial load. This type of bearing is separable bearing, the inner ring (including tapered roller and cage) and the outer ring of which can be installed separately. The radial clearance and axial clearance can be adjusted in the process of installation and using, or can be installed with pre-interference.

Main Structure Type
RVR Single Row Tapered Roller Bearing-3000

This kind of bearing can limit one-direction axial displacement of shaft or housing, and bear one-direction axial load. Additional axial force will ne produced under the effect of radial load. Therefore, unusually, in the two bearings of the shaft, the same end faces of bearing’s inner ring and outer ring are installed face to face. If it is used alone, its additional axial force should be stronger than its auxiliary axial force. 313 series tapered roller bearing has large contact angle (27°-30°), and is able to bear larger axial load. The contact angle of other series of bearing is among 10°-18°.

The dimension series number of ISO355 tapered roller bearing is listed in the dimension table of single row tapered roller bearing, just for reference when exchanging bearings.

The size of axial clearance of tapered roller bearing has a tremendous influence on whether the bearing can function well. When the axial clearance is too small, the temperature goes up; when the axial clearance is too large, the bearing is easy to be damaged. Therefore, special attention has to be paid to the adjustment of axial clearance of bearing during installation and operation.
